Healed From Ulcers
Over a period of fifteen years I endured a series of illness which started at the age of 12, when I developed very painful ulcers in the stomach. For a while, I kept this to myself and controlled the pain by stealing my father’s ulcer tablets. However, by the age of 14, the ulcers became unbearable and I was often rushed home from school and taken to hospital. God eventually healed me of these ulcers but little did I know what awaited me in the future. After my healing from ulcers, I continued to live a life that did not glorify God. I was reading novels that could not increase my spiritual life in Christ. By living an ungodly life, I was opening all kinds of doors in my life for the enemy to afflict me.
Slight symptoms of stomach problems
As time went on, I started having problems with my stomach again, as well as some prolonged and heavy menstrual periods. I simply ignored these and went on to complete my professional exams. After my wedding, I had a sense of urgency to conceive because I had a feeling things were not quite right with me. So after 3 months, when nothing happened, I started reading some Christian books.
I sent an urgent letter to a man of God, called Morris Cerullo, asking for prayers to conceive and about 2 weeks later, I received a letter back from him. He said that he prayerfully and randomly selects 10 letters out of the huge monthly mail the ministry receives and he personally prays about the individual cases he selects, whilst the ministry staff prays about the other requests. He told me that my request was one of the ten for the month and that having prayed, God said He should tell me that I will be pregnant within one to two months.
I jumped and danced and thanked God for His mercy. I received the news with faith and it was settled in my mind that it would be just as the man of God said. And indeed just as the man of God said, that was what happened. While pregnant with my son, I continued to have severe stomach pain to the point where no one could touch my stomach as that meant I would have to endure severe pain throughout the whole day.

Pain in My Pregnancy
I never complained to the doctor or showed any sign of pain with him lest they gave me any bad news about the child I was carrying or about my health. I gave birth to my son who was in a breached position by caesarean section. According to the doctors, my whole stomach was like a forest with all kinds of junk: scar tissues, fibroids, and cysts. They marvelled as to how I was able to conceive and they spent almost 2 hours after removing the baby trying to scrape out the scar tissues, telling me afterwards that they only scratched the surface. I had to receive two pints of blood and stayed 10 days in hospital. But this was just the beginning of my nightmares as my situation got worse and worse. Eventually I was flown to America and had emergency surgery to save my life, but the operation was not a sucess.
