THERE ARE THREE MAIN SOURCES OF SICKNESS
1. SIN – This is due to the original sin from Adam and Eve which has then subjected us to the nature of sin and therefore sickness (which is an offspring of sin), therefore the whole humanity is subject to sickness due to the fallen state of man in the garden of Eden. In addition specific sins which an individual has committed might act as an open door or avenue for sickness to attack their body. For example in John Chapter 5 Jesus healed a paralytic who had been in that condition for 38 years, Jesus later saw him in the temple and said (Verse 14 – See you are well again, stop sinning or something worse may happen to you).

2. SATAN – The devil is also responsible for attacks with sickness and disease – The bible tells us in Luke 13 v 11-16 about a woman that came to the synagogue and was bent over and could not stand upright. When Jesus saw the woman he healed her and she stood upright, however the Pharisees questioned why Jesus healed her on the sabbath and he replied (Verse 16 – Should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, WHOM SATAN HAS LEFT BOUND FOR 18 LONG YEARS BE SET FREE ON THE SABBATH DAY) Note Jesus confirmed it was SATAN that kept her bound. The bible also tells us in Acts 10v38 – (How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the HOLY GHOST and POWER who went about doing good and HEALING ALL THAT WERE OPPRESSED OF THE DEVIL for God was with him) Therefore it is clear that another name for sickness is SATANIC OPPRESION.

3. THE SHEER FRAGILITY OF OUR BODIES
The human body is very delicate and as we grow older it starts to become frail (the bible says in 2 Cor 4v16 – that the outward man (our body) is perishing and the inward man (our spirit) is renewed day by day). So, we have to make sure that we take good care of this body, eat well, exercise, be stress free and make sure we do what we can. Sometimes sickness just comes from the body being weak, old, frail or misused.

HOWEVER REGARDLESS OF THE SOURCE OF THE SICKNESS THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT HEALING AND COMPLETE RESTORATION IS AVAILABLE IN GOD – HALLELUYAH
